The first three products support both cats and dogs. My recommendations come from what I’ve learned from veterinarians, an herbal energy practitioner, and my own intuitive muscle testing, referred to as kinesiology. My intention is to empower you through educational awareness.
I’m not a veterinarian or qualified medical practitioner, so when it comes to these products, please trust your own discernment and intuition or consult with your veterinarian about these products.
I’m also going to explain the purpose and benefits of an intuitive technique that I use called kinesiology, muscle testing. Muscle testing helps me discern truth from falsity and helps me to assess the best products for my cat and for client’s pets,
Caveat—at any point in time, depending upon ingredients used in a product, a change in the container, or something that happens at the factory, the quality of the product can change. Therefore, as of this date, October 2026, these products test as safe and beneficial. Safe means free of chemicals and other contaminants.
In a synchronous way, after I composed this blog, a news story popped up on my phone from People.com with an article, “Heavy Metals and Toxic Chemicals found in Cat Foods. The link is here: https://people.com/heavy-metals-and-toxic-chemicals-found-in-cat-foods-investigation-finds-12156818.
Symptoms and Contaminants
When I’m conducting an animal communication session, a client might mention symptoms that their pet is experiencing. Symptoms include limping, throwing up, overweight, lethargic, irritable or unusually aggressive, or demonstrating other uncomfortable symptoms like itching, panting or pacing.
First, I’ll check in with the animal to get their point of view, sensations, feelings, and thoughts. Then, I might ask my client for permission to intuitively test their pet’s food, treats, supplements, medicines, feeding bowls, water, bed fabrics, and overall living environment to get a gauge on whether these items contain toxins or are off-gassing toxins. When an item is toxin free, I refer to it as being ‘safe.’
Unfortunately, the contaminants that exist these days compromise our pets. Contaminants exist in the food supply, artificial fabrics, plastics, food bowls marketed as stainless steel but have inferior metals used in the manufacturing, toxins being found in vaccines and injections that are meant to support the health of an animal. Sometimes, making just a few changes can make a difference.
I’m very aware that the narration of marketing statements isn’t always accurate. The good news is that the energy of all things can be assessed intuitively, so I’ve learned to trust the true energetic reading over the face-value, external manipulations.
The Power to Discern Truth, Kinesiology
One pathway to accessing pure consciousness and truth is through the practice of kinesiology, muscle testing. In the 1980s, I was introduced to muscle testing first by a naturopath and shortly thereafter a chiropractor. I was fascinated with the accuracy. Eventually, I learned how to do my own testing and have found it necessary and beneficial for my well-being, my family’s, and that of my clients.
Kinesiology tests the truth or falsehood of a statement and correlates muscle strength as truth, and muscle weakness as falsity. The basic practice demonstrates that muscles become weak when the body is exposed to harmful substances like artificial sweeteners, fluorescent lighting, chemicals and toxins in people food, pet food and pet treats, personal care items like facial lotions, soaps, make-up, shampoos, deodorants, off-gassing chemicals from fabrics, clothing, certain yoga attire, towels, slippers, shoes, and bedding.
Pure consciousness holds only truth, and since we are beings who exist in a physical form as well as existing as pure consciousness, humanity holds the power to discern truth from falsity. The truth, percentage of truth, or falsehood can be tested on everything. A few additional examples of what can be tested include: narratives in the media and government, comments from politicians, books including spiritually-categorized books, commerce policies, advertising and marketing promotions, YouTube videos. Learning how to muscle test truth and falsity will be beneficial especially with the entanglement of Artificial Intelligence technologies.
A classic book on the topic of applied kinesiology was written by John Diamond, M.D. Your Body Doesn’t Lie, Unlock the Power of Your Natural Energy. Dr. Diamond’s work includes his discovery of the link between the acupuncture meridians and the emotions. He began his career in psychiatry and expanded into holistic medicine. To observe and learn more about how muscle testing works, practitioners on YouTube videos demonstrate various types of muscle testing with and without using a partner.
Three Pet Product Recommendations
- Probiotic – SalutemPet Probiotics – www.SalutemPet.com. In recent months I needed to take my cat to the vet. He needed an antibiotic and then a probiotic to restore the good bacteria in his intestines. The two probiotics the vet office recommended both had chemicals, according to my intuitive testing, and I wouldn’t use them. Chemicals can cause inflammation in the pet’s body and will aggravate any weakened system or organ. Chemicals can have hidden pathogens underneath their molecular makeup.
- Dental Care -Healthymouth by HealthyPET, HealthyMouth.com. This product benefits both cats and dogs, and your investment is around $70. Although the label says the bottle serves a four-month supply, I’m finding it lasts much longer because my cat only needs four drops a day that I place on top of his dry food. One testimonial said it lasted a year. My integrative vet—who practices some holistic and mostly traditional care—approved Healthymouth when she saw VOHC on the label that the Veterinary Oral Health Counsel endorsed it. NOTE—This product requires refrigeration after opening.
- Immune Health – Imuquin by Nutramax – Imuquin.com. When I purchased this product, it came in a small, orange packet, and now, it comes in a sprinkle capsule from a bottle. The vet said it would support my cat’s immune system and oral care. I’m grateful for this product because my indoor-outdoor cat is exposed to neighbors’ lawn poisons, chem trails, and pathogens from critters who he oftentimes displays excitedly at our front door.
Cat Food Recommendation
Here are the foods that I feed my cat and recommend to my cat clients when they ask. Of course, there are likely other safe foods, but at least these foods might offer a new option if you’re looking for one.
- Solid Gold Indigo Moon dry cat food—Your investment depends on the size that you purchase. A six-pound bag is about $33.
- Rawz moist cat food – Here are flavors that I recommend, and your investment is about $2 a can:
- Beef and beef liver paté
- Chicken and chicken liver paté
- Salmon paté
- Chicken and chicken liver, shredded chicken
- Weruva Truluxe, Quick ‘N Quirky, moist food, flavor chicken and turkey. The chicken and turkey texture comes shredded in a gravy.
Buyer Beware – most seafood ingredients do not test intuitively as safe, so please keep that in mind. Fish and shellfish can contain heavy metals and chemicals, even though your cat may love the flavor.
Storage Tip – I like to keep my dry cat food in a large, glass mason jar. The bags or boxes that dry food or treats come in can be ‘unsafe’ giving off toxic gases that then contaminate the food. Plastic food storage containers, for dogs or cats, can compromise the food and then your pet.
Cost Considerations
I appreciate the need to prioritize money allocated for necessities and money for discretionary spending, especially given today’s economy. These recommended products might cost more than the highly marketed, lower priced brands, many of which are compromised in their ingredients, regardless of who’s endorsing them.
One of my core values rests in my decision to invest in maintaining my health and my cat’s health. I’m inspired to support my cat—first, to help him thrive, be happy, and avoid unnecessary suffering and discomfort; second, to possibly avoid a future, substantial vet bill because I didn’t address current symptoms when present.
Our beloved pets come into our lives as healers, teachers, and companions. They are willing participants in our evolution in consciousness. I’m thankful for what I can contribute to the well-being of your pets and to provide education and encouragement for your peace of mind and heart.
